Lumirex is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our platform.
1. Our Commitment
We believe that everyone deserves equal access to digital tools and information. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of the Lumirex platform and to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
2. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Lumirex is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known gaps.
3. Accessibility Features
The Lumirex platform includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation: All core platform features can be accessed using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.
- Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements.
- Resizable text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus rings are present on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
- Alternative text: Images and icons include descriptive alternative text where appropriate.
- Responsive design: The platform is designed to work across a range of devices and screen sizes, including mobile devices.
- Error identification: Form errors are clearly identified and described in text to assist users in correcting mistakes.
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known limitations include:
- Some complex data visualizations in audit reports (charts and graphs) may not have complete text alternatives. We are working to add detailed data tables as alternatives.
- Some third-party embedded content may not fully conform to accessibility standards. We are working with our vendors to address these issues.
- PDF exports of audit reports may have limited accessibility. We recommend using the web-based report view for the most accessible experience.
We are actively working to resolve these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.
